Dear Valued Customer:
Earlier today we made the decision to continue operations to be able to support our customer’s needs. Alumicor is considered an essential business that supports critical construction activities according to today’s communication from the Quebec and Ontario provincial governments indicating non-essential businesses are required to close. As a result, we are proud to be able to maintain operations to support those critical activities.
At Alumicor, and across all of Apogee’s businesses, we have already taken extraordinary precautions to keep our facilities clean and safe. I am grateful for the cooperation and efforts from our entire team as we continue to work in an environment that is clean and limits social grouping activities.
While we have directed the majority of our office and customer support employees to work remotely during this period, this team stands ready to support you and your project requirements. Our Sales, Estimating and Customer Service representatives are available by phone, email, text or web ex conferencing.
We recognize the truly unprecedented nature of this crisis and are taking the necessary steps to prioritize health and safety. As we all work together to fight our way through the COVID-19 crisis, we know there will be light ahead. Together, I am confident we will emerge from this situation positioned for future success.
Please continue to take the appropriate safety measures that protect your employees, families and businesses.

A Message From Brian Reid, President of Alumicor March 18, 2020 Dear Valued Partner: Alumicor continues to maintain a vigilant stance on the safety of our employees, customers and vendors. The further spread of COVID-19 and updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Canadian Public Health Services have resulted in the need for Alumicor to implement additional measures to limit social interaction, ensure safety and minimize spread of the virus. We want to communicate with you some of the actions we are implementing. Alumicor Social Distancing Plan: Sales and Customer Service We have restricted travel for our employees and are migrating our office workforce to a “work from home” scenario. This will mean interaction with your Alumicor outside sales team members will rely more heavily on communications via phone, email and text messaging instead of client office visits. We will rely on our strong relationships with you over the next number of weeks to interact remotely. While our Customer service people are working from home, they will have all the same capabilities they had in the office environment and we do not anticipate any customer impact.Read More
